Mongolian cashmere is among the softest and best in the world. It is up to eight times warmer than wool and it is hand-combed from each Cashmere goat in the spring as the weather warms and the undercoat naturally begins to shed.
Mongolia’s dry and cold climate, elevation, and herding traditions are ideal for the production of the highest quality cashmere. Each Mongolian goat produces 250 to 300 grams of cashmere per year. It takes three to four goats to produce just one cashmere jumper!
Long prized by the stylish customer, cashmere wool provides superior warmth without weight and is exceptionally soft and durable.
